Babyface Vs Teddy Riley ‘Verzuz’ Music Battle Funny Comments

Last night on Saturday April 18, 2019 the most anticipated ‘Verzuz’ Music Battle between songwriters/producers  Babyface aka  Kenneth Edmond and  Teddy Riley  ended early due to audio technical difficulties  The ‘Verzuz’ Music Battle  organized by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz  quickly had over  400,000 people  tuning  in on  Instagram to  witness HISTORY.  Unfortunately for viewers, the broadcast had to be postponed due to audio technical   difficulties  from Teddy Riley. Teddy Riley sound and presentation had an  echo  causing folks  in the comments asking  for a restart.

“Tonight, shit happens, man … I’m actually cool with stopping the event to make sure it go right …” Swizz told his followers. “A lot of people dressed up for tonight, a lot of people was in there for tonight, but we’re gonna put it back on—it’s going to be amazing. But we gotta respect those legends … I know when to call. We got to call it … Babyface put in too much work, Teddy put in too much, Babyface put in too much work.”

The Instagram Live  battle had  celebs such as  Dr. Dre , Jamie  Fox, Toni Braxton,  Adele , Diddy,  Bobby Brown , Mariah Carey, Taraji Henson, Doug E. Fresh,  Kevin Hart, Missy Elliott, Victor Cruz, Quavo, the Braxtons, and Charlamagne tha God  all tuning in.  Teddy Riley went first, playing “The Show,” the rap classic featuring Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick. Babyface  then started his song selection with “Two Occasions” by The Deele .

 Riley then played “Groove Me” and Hi-Five’s “I Like the Way,” while Babyface played  Bobby Brown’s “Don’t Be Cruel” and “Every Little Step.”  The audio  Technical difficulties continued through Teddy Rileys presentation  and it was at that time after calling for a 30 minute break for the sound to be fix is when Babyface announced  that the battle would be rescheduled.
