The Mother’s Day Verzuz Battle took place on Saturday, May 8th 2021. After 20 rounds, the performances were pretty equal as per Billboard. However, looking at Billboard’s scoring, SWV just took the win.

Xscape won the “Wider Catalogue” category as well as “People’s Champ”, “Best Banter” and “Biggest KO” went to SWV.

We felt the energy in the first half was a little low especially with SWV but they came blazing like fire  for the second half after a costume change. Xscape  were flawless for the first half we thought that they sounded great. Below is a review from Billboard but in our perspective they both won it was a great presentation by both groups that took us down memory lane.
