Babyface Recovers From The Coronavirus

The Legendary Grammy award-winning music producer Kenneth Edmonds, aka Babyface celebrated his 62nd birthday by recovering from the Coronavirus . Babyface reflected on his COVID-19 diagnosis on his 62nd birthday Friday.

“I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate another birthday,” he wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. “I tested positive for the Covid19 virus, as did my family. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through my friends.”

Although Babyface didn’t provide a timeline on his diagnosis, the singer-songwriter added that he and his family are no longer positive for the contagious virus.

“I’m happy to report we have now tested negative and are on our way back to full health.”

He urged everyone to “stay home” and “stay safe.”

Following his health update, Babyface shared some positive news: He accepted an invitation from Swizz Beatz and Timbaland to have an Instagram Live music battle with fellow record producer Teddy Riley.

“Teddy!!! Let’s show them what Hip Hop/R&B music really means to the world,” he added.
