Michelle Obama’s 2020 Commencement Address | Dear Class Of 2020

With commencements and graduations across the country cancelled, Former First Lady Michelle Obama and her Reach Higher initiative teamed up with YouTube to celebrate students reaching this major milestone. Dear Class of 2020 is a virtual commencement celebration that brings together inspirational leaders, artists, and creators to recognize graduates, their families, and their communities. Reach Higher was started by Mrs. Obama during her time at the White House to inspire every student in the U.S. to take charge of their future by completing their education past high school, whether at a professional training program, a community college, a four-year college or university, or in the military. Reach Higher now lives at Common App, a non-profit membership organization dedicated to access, equity, and integrity in the college admission process. So much has changed so quickly.
