Pink Donates 1 Million To Help Fight Coronavirus

Singer/songwriter  Pink and her son both tested positive for COVID-19 and, after their recovery, she took to social media to announce her $1 million donation to the fight. She will provide $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Fund in Philadelphia, in honor of her mother, who worked at the facility for 18 years, and $500,000 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.  Half the amount is going to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency Covid-19 Crisis Fund and half to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund. As she explained via social media, the second donation is in honor of her mother, who worked at the Philadelphia facility for 18 years. (Pink currently lives in Los Angeles.)
